I have a player whose average was 60 one day and then the next day his average was 57. He's a 20 year old player and the progression columns show that he was set to improve his average. Why would his score have dropped? Would it have been a readjustment by the developers or could it have been due to the fact that my team is in the red at the moment? 21/03/2011 22:40

The average drop is not caused by any of these reasons. Your player has still 60 average, but when stamina decrease, average does too.
Just let the player rest a bit and he will recover their average.

Well for some this a very game intensive start, most of us have pvt leagues, the striker cup and the regular league so the teams are taking tolls.

I for one would like to be able to check my players true avg. as that is important in considering if I keep or drop a player. After a match I see that fitness and Stamina drop so it looks like the players are getting doubly punished. Shouldn't playing games on a regular basis be good for their fitness? One of my players dropped 9 points due to fitness and stamina issues. My physio only recovers some stamina as far as I am aware but does not take care of fitness?

You have a little mess Sachath . Let's start, at the beggining of the season it's usual to take some time to get the best of your players, because fitness starts at 60, so that affects so the recovery of stamina. Fitness is the skill which is recovered using the physio.

On the other hand, stamina is recovered by resting, you'll realize that your players recover some of it every day. That amount is fixed by the fitness, as much fitness they have, they will recover more stamina. If fitness is 99, they will recover the maximum possible amount (not necessary enough to let them to 99 stamina if they are very tired).

So, in order to keep your players fit, just use physio to get their level of fitness to 99 and then try to change players when you play many matches in following days, to let them to rest enough to do their best.

Hope I've solved all your doubts.

Sort of, but its still irregular how many points my different players have dropped despite similar stamina lvls which makes me feel uneasy. I'll try what you said though. Its just sooo long until the next scheduled day off for them . And maybe we could have a way of seeing their true avg and their avg due to form?(If possible without having to pay for it) 22/03/2011 15:12

You may try my tip
I see his true avg from his "History" tab, quite accurate especially if he has recently history date.

To see a players true average go to squad, click on the players name to bring up his info, then go to 'player' tab and select training. Move your mouse along the green line until the current day/date is shown. This shows what his average is, as well as how much he has improved over a period of time.
