What makes morale, stamina, and fitness decrease for a player? This is just a guess but morale goes down due to being on the bench and stamina and fitness go down due to playing?

Also, how do I increase morale, stamina, and fitness? Again, I'm guessing you increase morale by playing a benched player and increase stamina and fitness by resting a player on the bench?

Does placing a player in the "substitutes" or "reserves" list change anything?

I think your staff you hired would do that for moral and fitness 07/04/2011 07:00

You guessed right. Players "get back in form" by resting and by putting your Physio to work (everyday if you can) and the Psychologist brings their morale up.

I didn't even realize that you could click on that staff members and require that they work on morale and fitness. Thanks!

What about stamina? Is that (as I guessed) linked to how much (or little) they have been playing in games?

If a player plays for 45 minutes, his lost of stamina/fitness won't be as significant as if he plays the whole game. Let's say that your player's shape goes down 14 "points" after a complete game; then, if he plays 45 minutes, he will loose only 7 "points". (this is a good option if your Physio isn't all that or if your bench players are as good as your starting ones)

On the other hand, you can use the bench players for your private league, cup or friendly matches: That way your main players will have Tuesdays, Thursdays and weekends off to rest and be in perfect shape for your league games.

PS: No matter what, you should still put your Physio to work on a regular basis

That's the way I was going about it - by having a rotation policy in my squad (I'll start to do daily physiotherapist sessions too) but I'm still confused about the difference between stamina and fitness.

My physiotherapist tells me he is working on fitness but it doesn't mention anything about stamina.

Is he really working on both things - as they are treated as the same thing? If they are the same thing, does resting players and having my physiotherapist work help both statistics?

Or, is fitness worked on by my physiotherapist and resting players improved by resting?

Sorry to keep at the questioning! Thanks for all the help!

the lower a guy's fitness is when he plays a game the lower his stamina goes the higher his fitness is the lower his stamina goes so fitness is tied in with stamina but it wont cure stamina it will just make sure stamina declines slower then it would with low fitness. 08/04/2011 06:12

Fitness and Stamina are not linked. Fitness is recovered by your Physio (set him to work each day) and stamina is ONLY recovered by resting (bench or reserve but he must not play) 14/04/2011 11:52

suppose my physio takes 150.000 a week as salary, so when i go to him and ask him to recover my players, how much would he charge in excess of his salary for the treatment?? 16/04/2011 22:07
