I have an offer for one of my players who is assignable, to be loaned for the rest of the season.
Wanting to accept this, I go to my signings and then press accept only to be directed to a red error box saying:

"You have exceeded the receivables maximum number."

Any idea on what this means?

You can only loan 3 players at 1 season 29/04/2011 23:35

Yes, but I'm not taking a player on my team. Instead, I'm loaning one of my own players out.
I think it might be that the other team has bids on players, therefore unable to take more players on his squad, but the semantics of the warning are vague instead of blatantly saying what the issue is.

Yessir, although I'm guessing the reason is probably because the team who asked to loan him now has 3 players on loan from other teams.
It would have been better if the warning was a little more clear cut in saying that the other team cannot take on a loan player because they're maxed out either in total player (25 players or players+bids+loans) or they already have maximum of 3 loaned players (either already loaned or asking to loan others)
