Hi, I have been playing striker for a while now and doing ok... one fine day i see a message from my coaching secretary that "xxxxx" has bought off one of my players paying his clause and that i will receive 2,574,600 pounds for him. I couldnt just believe it because i had never indicated that he was on sale nor had i put him up on any auction. Worse, when i looked at the player's profile again, he was under the hammer and the bid amount was around 4 million, making it impossible for me to even buy him back. This was kind of ridiculous considering he was one of my finest players and i was shocked at the way this transfer was dealt with, without any kind of intimation and knowing that there was no way i could have done anything to avoid it. I would really appreciate it if someone would enlighten me on how & why this was done, preferably an admin. Thanks in advance. I edit the name of the team Edited by @shengli 09-06-2011 13:38 |

In other words, a hostile transfer. You have to make sure that the release clause is apropriate 4 the player's rate and age, and to do so, you'll have to proportionate rate and salary. |

Its a feature of the game....keep you on your toes, like any good manager, you need to make sure your players are well paid so they dont get enticed by some other club Your CF 43 release clause should be at least 6 mill to avoid any poaching Edited by GunnerNic 18-05-2011 00:01 |

I am the manager in question, that player to my view was a short-term business, because the market is worth much more, sorry for the inconvenience | 18/05/2011 00:39 |

thanks for clearing that out... Rasca&Pica, sorry... i didnt mean any offense... i just thought it would have been better if i had received any kind of intimation from striker(the system bot) on the takeover before it had happened.... that way, maybe i could have worked out something with the player in question... anyways thanks everyone again. |
