Hi, I have been playing striker for a while now and doing ok... one fine day i see a message from my coaching secretary that "SSC Napoli" has bought off one of my players paying his clause and that i will receive 2,574,600 pounds for him. I couldnt just believe it because i had never indicated that he was on sale nor had i put him up on any auction. Worse, when i looked at the player's profile again, he was under the hammer and the bid amount was around 4 million, making it impossible for me to even buy him back. This was kind of ridiculous considering he was one of my finest players and i was shocked at the way this transfer was dealt with, without any kind of intimation and knowing that there was no way i could have done anything to avoid it. I would really appreciate it if someone would enlighten me on how & why this was done, preferably an admin. Thanks in advance. |

Not admin, but the other guy paid the release clause of your player. Basically, you weren't paying the guy enough so someone bought him and gave him a contract worth 4 million to your 2.5 million, the 2.5M you will be compensated. It's also called the "hostile" clause. | 17/05/2011 20:57 |

yea i've never heard of such a thing in real life sports, but it's an interesting factor that makes striker unique. i love it personally, until it's one of my players being taken. haha | 18/05/2011 19:02 |

we all had to learn it the hard way eventually. :/ but now that you know what's up, you can use it to your advantage and not be taken advantage of. | 21/05/2011 02:43 |
