So I didn't fully understand what a partner was when setting prices at the start of this season and had my price for them set to something ridiculously low (something like $25).

My stadium is at about 60k capacity. I get about 25k standing (out of 48k possible standing seating) each game. I also get about 13k partners (out of 12k possible general seating) each game - in other words, I sell NO general seating. I think this is either because the partners take all the seats or all those interested in general bought a partner when it was cheap.

My question is how should I proceed from here. I get little revenue because partners have already paid a very low cost for these seats. I'm guessing that all partner tickets get reset at the start of next season, right? My plan is to wait until next season and make sure I set the partner tickets much higher this time ($600) and my standing and general much lower (around $10 and $20).

Any other suggestions? I know I should upgrade standing to general and general to pro as soon as possible but anything else?

Off topic, there are quite a few translation issues with the site. Why not just call them a "season ticket holder" instead of a "partner". No English-speaking person uses this language. It would help with a lot of questions people have just by having the proper descriptor. There are other similar to this throughout the site. 		20/05/2011 03:26

 To address your question about what to do:

1) Increase your partner prices. The partners will very slowly leave (and you won't lose any money) once you get them high enough.
2) Upgrade your general seats ASAP. They can't take up your general seats if you have no general seats. I'd recommend building them back once your partners decreases
3) if there are 40 matches in a season, partner prices should be roughly 40 times whatever your general seats are ($20*40 = 800, but I bet your general seats would sell for higher than that).

To address the issue as a whole (admins please do if possible):

1) I agree that season tickets or season ticket holders would be a better translation than partner.
2) I'm not sure what the default season ticket prices are for new teams, but could we make sure they're about 40 times general seat cost.


If there are any other translation issues (I know I saw "lentgh" somewhere and the market filter for LIMs is weird), send them to @shengli or any other admin. 		20/05/2011 04:23
