Its called the release clause. Every player has got it. If another manager pays it, he gets the player, no matter what you think, no matter how badly you dont want to sell him. Get used to it. You can make a players release clause bigger by renewing his contract with a higher salary. | 15/06/2011 20:24 |

This is why it's worth taking a look at the FAQ: http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=254875 I agree that at first the release clause seems unfair but when you think about it players in real football do have buy out clauses in their contract and it's not uncommon for them to force their own move out of a club (sadly). To protect your players you just need to make sure they are well paid, this will increase the release clause. Edited by MikLSP 15-06-2011 20:37 |

I understand... yeah they do have buy out clauses but in real life the club tht owns the player gets informed first... cesc fabregas is not in barcelona just because arsenal doesnt wanna sell him... | 15/06/2011 20:39 |

Yes, it is true that the process is a little strange in how instantly you can lose anyone and it would be nice to at least be given the opportunity to negotiate a better deal for the player first but knowing that you can't, the best bet is to ensure you at least get a good fee which you can then spend on a replacement. | 15/06/2011 20:44 |

The first one is always hard to take, but now you have cash, and learned more about how the game works exactly | 15/06/2011 21:25 |
