So after all the drama of last weekend. We found out, that its illegal to sign free agents and all players got deducted a 20% on their averages, or 10% as it nw stands. As of midnite last nite, all the players locked out by the "missing parameters" bug, were made available. I kept tabs on a few of them and they're all plying their trade in new clubs. So heres my question, if u signed free agents on the weekend and got penalised 10% of that players ave. Whts gonna happen to the managers who signed players this morning? Well, seeing as i never got any answers to my previous questions. I thought id keep an eye on some of them. Was just luck i suspose but now the FA have more headaches, because now they have to hunt down all those players and managers and start dishing out appropriate punishment. The -10% didn't work like that. If these players were signed after the 20% was deducted, its very likely that they were signed for $0, and then had 10% added AND 2 years removed from their age. So they would be rewarded double over for taking one of these players after the fact. From my understanding, admin is not sanctioning them, but letting the behavior stand. I have seen it first hand in a couple cases already. so a 60/25 player taken after the 20% deduction and before the +10% could very well be a 66/23 player free and clear. |
