Stop complaining about fair and fire him. If you liked your sh**y physio so much, you should find another like him no problem. I'm growing tired of the word fair. |

According to you it's not fair. And according to you one that is 65% (~100k is just as good) so you fire your $400k guy for $800k. and hire a $100k physio. Now, in 4 weeks, instead of spending $3.2M, you've spent $1.2M for the same service. So, what do you mean by "do better"? Provide better ROI, or actually put points on your players? |

A good coach only provides % better, but you overstate....not just a little, but a whole lot. a 90% coach is 50% better than a 60% coach So you are getting good ROI on that investment. That can make a difference of .3/day if you're 100 progression 100 motivation and org midfield. The difference is much smaller for most players. if you are 80 progression and 80 motivation and doing anything else (.5) then the difference is really .096 (.288 for 90% vs. .192 for 60%) So in a perfect scenario, a perfect player under perfect conditions with a great coach can make a 6 pt difference over 3 weeks....if you only organize midfield for the entire 3 weeks. In a real scenario, for youth, where you can only do it twice a week, the difference is much much smaller. you get that .3 twice a week, and then maybe another .1 difference for a total of .8/week or 3 points over a month. If done right, the investment is a good one. Now with a physio, it's the same thing...on average, a better physio will add more points...say 3 points/day of fitness between a 60 and a 90 on average. That's *21* points of fitness per week. pretty d**n significant. You don't see these differences day to day, because of the fluctuations. anecdotal evidence is always misleading and you need a sample size of n > 24 to mean anything. So get a month of data and get out your calculator...der mite b 1 on dat fon ur using.... Edited by rebsiot 25-06-2011 09:06 |

It's not the same every days. |

My advice is never put more than 150k on salary for both physio and psycho combined. The total salary for all staffs should not exceed 1.2M a week. You'll save lots of money for getting better players just in a few weeks. I used to pay 2M+ for staffs' salary but then I realised and I have to pay big chunk of $ just to get rid of them. Now my finance is in a better shape. | 26/06/2011 08:59 |

am I missing something here? Why would I wont to recover +14 or +17? I recover 6 points a day and that is more than enough to get morale and fitness to 99. Only time i had trouble was at the beginning of the season coz they reset the fitness to 50% but by the time the first game rolled on it was around 85%. Now I had a lot of trouble with stamina because with striker cup i had to play 7 games in 7 days and couldnt recover the players fast enough but that has nothing to do with physio and psycho. |

Thats exactly right Alex, you not missing anything. I guess maybe if you using the tactic of buying cheap burnt out players and fixing them to resell, you want to do it as quickly as poss. |
