The point you made was that with the current system home and away scheduling wasn't fair, but in both our cases it looks to be nearly 50/50. The idea of playing all the games at the bigger stadium, or a neutral ground with a large capacity, or fixed amount to each team just introduces more money into the system, which inflates the prices of players and salaries and we will be no better off. | 30/06/2011 13:31 |

The suggestion is to cut out the throw of a coin which could quite easily lead to 8 games straight away which in my opinion is unfair (and I guess a few other readers that have had the same problem) I can see quite clearly your opinion - you believe a coin toss is fair, which is fine thats your right to have that opinion. So we agree to disagree then and leave it at that. |

Iv played 2 away, 1 home and later today im playing a home match. I see the point of both Nic and Godson. In the end playing in a neutral venue is beneficial to both teams, especially teams in lower divs and teams using smaller stadiums. Yes, player prices will inflate but that will also mean that teams will have more spending power. Smaller teams will be able to afford better quality players, which will raise the standard of competition all round substantially. Meaning that a team from div 6 or 7 will be able 2 go all the way in the striker cup instead of becoming whipping boys to the teams higher up. | 30/06/2011 15:00 |
