Compare all of these to the spanish teams and then tell me how many teams you have in your league. We play football!! not Noise!!!! |

I believe the reason the EPL is popular is because there are several teams competing for the title every year. Granted ManU Chelsea and Arsenal are the odds on favorites each year the race is a bit more open compared to La Liga. Admittedly Valencia did pick up a title a few years back. Just an outsider Yanks viewpoint. And I prefer theBundesliga to both but will glady watch any and all of the above. | 29/06/2011 22:46 |

@ytm2014 These past year in UEFA champions league, there were most english clubs in the semi-finals than others. Up to 3 teams semi-finalists out of 4 coming from Premier league as i can tell. And you even ask how many teams won it since 2004? Only 1 spanish team won it since 2002 or 2001(i'm not sure). I can even say that you have only 1 team internationaly (i know it's the best in the world) becose Real Madrid is doing NOTHING in the champions league these past seasons. The english league has more suspence. We can never tell who will win before the last matches these 2 or 3 past seasons. But in the spanish league, we know that it will either be Barca or Real Madrid ( Barca is the best in my point of view). Look guys, since I'm neutral in this discussion... Here's my view of this The better league is a league with not best two teams (Chelsea, Manchester or Barcelona and Madrid), but the rest of the teams. Put Liverpool against Athletic Club (both in 6th position), and I'd bet on Liverpool. I think Everton would beat Club Atlético de Madrid, Aston Villa would beat CA Osasuna... I think English clubs have an advantage from this point of view. |
