Apologies if this has been asked before, but does playing games help improve players? I didn't find anything. Or does player improvement come only via training? Thanks! | 05/07/2011 15:43 |

If a player plays a game it affects his motivation. The higher a players motivation the better he will train. I can't remember the exact numbers, maybe somebody can correct me if I'm wrong but... A player in Starting Line-up = 100% A player in Subs = 80% A player not selected = 50% If you win the players who started get a 5% bonus If you have dressing room accessory all players get a 1% bonus for each level |

Right but it doesn't directly affect the points he gains. I'm thinking along the lines of Madden where "live" games improve the player. So only training affects points, but obviously the motivation % depends on whether the player started, was a sub, or not selected. | 05/07/2011 20:34 |

No...the player doesn't gain any average points from playing, only from training. | 05/07/2011 21:09 |

I have articled motivation in FAQ at the bottom of the page here: http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=254974&m=731783 Your experience attribute increases with games played and this is multiplied into your captains rating when you choose a captain for your game. Cheers Nic |
