I just got a new player in my school in uruguay, how do you typically handle a new player? do you let them sit in the school and they get better? or do u just promote them immediately and the average that they are sitting at is what you get and you just wait for them to progress naturally? help im still new | 06/07/2011 00:30 |

alright i'll take this one. do NOT promote them until they're ready, which the game will send you a message in about 4 seasons saying they are ready. you can temp promote them to boost their motivation from time to time. the ideal way to bring up fresh meat from the academy is playing them in your junior starting lineup, temp promoting them at least once a season where they actually start for your senior team, rinse and repeat until they're 18 and you get that message saying they're ready for a permanent promotion. |

Sorry, have to correct you on this one Ace. School to youth squad is also "promote" Promote from the school immediately, they'll just sit around doing nothing there. The average you're told I've found is much lower than it is turns out when they arrive in your youth squad (then start training them and DON'T promote them again to senior squad until you get a yellow P by their name). |

If that player you think that can be useful to your team promote him if not discard him. Your players in school wont train therefore would not increase or decrease there average but at the end of season they will have one more year as regular players in your squad. | 06/07/2011 17:24 |
