In the player profile when you click on hire just make an offer thats equal to the release clause or in another words increase the offer until you reach the release clause. 08/07/2011 16:34

If you dont pay the entire relase clause and make an offer thats less than the release clause the other manager can decide if he wants to sell it or not. If you pay the entire release clause the player would come to your team. Doesnt matter if the other team wants to sell him or not they cant reply the offer.

I paid the release clause but the player hasn't come over yet. How long should it take?

But the other manager may decide to let the player leave sooner to get the money sooner.
