I'm looking over the finance report and coinciding it with my spreadsheet, and some of the numbers never seem to quite add up. When i look at the stadium screen, i see how many people attended the previous match. When i multiply those numbers by the ticket prices from that match, and then total that sum, the number i come up with is generally higher than the number that gets reported in the Finances screen, when viewed on the daily scale. For example, in my previous match, it was a friendly with an upper division team. Attendance numbers: Standing: 3236 General: 5136 Prices: Standing: $10 General: $33 The math: ((3236 x $10) + (5136 x $33))/2= $100,924 (The division by two is due to it being a friendly match.) In my financial report for yesterday and for the week, i see Friendly Games entry is listed at $79,079. Where did that other $21,845 go? This is not just something that happens with friendlies though, it happens with every match. It's never accurate. For League games, it comes in higher than what the other numbers say it should be, and for friendlies and private league games, it's always lower. Is there some kind of hidden fee that is being assessed to ticket sales before it hits the balance sheet that i have not noticed yet? Do i have corrupt ticket sellers that are skimming off the top? Is there some weird currency conversion error going on somewhere? Do the ticket prices lock in at some point that i'm not aware of, or are there sales being tallied but not posted in the days prior to the actual match? I'd really like to get this aspect of the game figured out sooner rather than later. If it all balances out in the end, that's fine, i guess, but i'd much rather the numbers actually added up correctly. |

@Dnsvnsk said: Billboards. Billboards don't come under ticket sales on the Stadium page. They only show under Billboards in the finance page. If they do then my ticket sales on the Stadium page is short by £340k. |

There is indeed a billboards section, and that line item adds up just fine. (I track that in the same spreadsheet). Pretty much everything else seems to be adding up just fine each day. | 12/07/2011 21:47 |

It just looks to me like there is some simple accounting errors somewhere. Maybe there's an unreported bug here? Maybe someone in the know (Dev, perhaps?) would like to chime in at some point? They do read these forums now and then, don't they? |
