Will you accept an offer to replace a team in 4 div?

Do you think it is too late to take such offer to 4th div because there're not much time to upgrade the accessories? Though I have read a lot about the pros/cons of accepting an offer, it is still not clear what are the benefits here. Will you get better TV deal, better sponsor, more fans?.... Please straight this out for me. Thanks. |

Pros - more income (tickets, higher attendance...etc) Cons - tougher teams, accessories upgrades, possibly less income due to lost games. You decide. I guess the main thing is check the league you are being offered and see what teams are in there and if you stand a chance against them. One thing for sure, you don't want to go from top spot in your league to the bottom in next one and keep losing to stronger teams. I have a few guys in my group that did it and now they are getting hammered here with 40 average team against 55+ average teams. |

Thanks for your reply. Based on your answer, I may have more income for higher attendance but also less income for losing games. They may cancel out if my stadium is not big enough to take advantage of the raise in attendance. So, there's no gain, but a lot to lose. Based on this, I should not take the offer. Thanks for your reply. |

I think it depends on how good the team you'd be taking over is with respect to the rest of the division. If you will be taking over the 1st place team, then I'd jump at the chance. If it's a middle of the pack team, you may be able to come in and improve it's standings before the season ends. If it's a bottom feeder, it could be a tough challenge to get the team back into good form before the season ends and you wind up getting demoted. | 20/07/2011 17:43 |

You don't take over another team, you just switch places with it. |

I turned it down. The reason i'm against it is that I don't have a big enough stadium to take advantage of the raise in attendance, and all the accessories are not up to the 4 div requirement, my squad is still not up to par. I wil upgrade the accessories to lvl 2 by the end of the season and expand the stadium. Next season I will receive offers to promote to 3 div anyway. My squad and my stadium will be ready by then. By the way, if you think you will be promoted to 4 div like me, you should start to do so. |
