I have a shot a winning my Div 6 league I'm the best team. I have been given a chance to move into a easier Div 5 but I have no chance of winning (too far behind) I think either League I will win every game. I have two of the three accessories already (anticipating promotion) I just want to weigh up a few things. The standard is lower but will my attendance go up in the new devision? Will I get to re make my TV deal? If now I have a two year deal if I get promoted naturally can I change it. If not it makes no difference? The only reason I would go up is so I can get more revenue per game but I'm not sure if that will happen or not. I will miss out on golden balls for winning the league which I could well do at this rate. If I wait will I get a shot at being a team with more chance of finishing higher in the leauge? What would you guys do and why? |

If you ask this in the forum there will be 2 answers. Yes, promote. No, you are crazy, dont promote. Mine is the first. Always is better to promote |

I would promote in your situation as long as the team being replaced is not in threat for relegation. Do you have money for or already built stadium accessories as required for div 5. Edited by sgand 23-07-2011 15:35 |

Hi look i had the same situation you have 3 weeks ago i was first in my group of 6th division they offered me a team in 5th who was in 15th place but i risked and i took it and look now im 4th and im sure i will promote to 4th division so dont let the theme of the accesories bring you down. You will notice an upgrade on your finances because you will have better incomes at games and about the tv deal you will have the same tv deal and the same sponsor they dont offer you a new one. | 23/07/2011 17:29 |

The trouble is we are nearly half way through the season. Look at the team you will replace, if you think you can make up any points difference to avoid relegation go for it. If its a bit much leave it and concentrate on promotion from the league you are in. | 23/07/2011 20:03 |

I was 15-0-0 in division 5. Accepted 13th place in a division 4 group. Edge of relegation, and a decent shot to get into top 4 (13 points). I have to spend 10M initially, but the move will pay for itself in 3-4 weeks, as VIP seats go in. As long as you aren't going to get relegated, and have a chance at fulfilling your sponsor bonus, then it's a slam dunk take I think. |
