16 Games to be played, 16 winners, 14 teams that will play valiantly but fail, a group selling GK's as Airstrike Defense systems to terrorists, and juve. First Match of the day: LXV FC vs. TeaM ELX Both teams have similar characteristics: Strong Midfield(60's-70's), Offense in the 40's, central formation. 5 capital letters. Prediction: ELX will win 1-0. After beating the Brazilian Barons at Milanista, who could have bought ELX's entire team if they really wanted to, they have shown they have the strength to go on. On the other hand, LXV is a standard division 4 contender, decent, but not really beating anyone these other teams might have faltered. Milanista may be looking to get revenge, bribing the refs into giving ELX red cards, diminishing their already pitiful offense, It would not be beyond them either to give LXV plenty of performance enhancing drugs. Both managers were absent for interviews, however screams could be heard coming from DanielorZ's (ELX) house, with diamond studded limos parked in the driveway. Milanista's money may not be spent entirely on star players, as has long been suspected by the many committees making up the FA of SM. Highlight Match: Brodie Lodge @ 4ll41 Slipi's Lizard Pirates take on Godson's Purple Police in a battle for the ages. Godson has a superior Midfield, which has been Slipi's strong suit in his Int'l 55 matches. But Slipi has Godson outmatched nearly everywhere else. The nearly polar opposites in game mentality will prove whether nice guys really do finish last, or whether the age of piracy ended for a reason. Slipi's latest strategy is to use parseltongue to command cobras to kill the other team, while Godson's team refuses to use any illicit strategies for fear of losing his place as one of the most helpful managers in the game. If all goes his way the FA will shut Slipi down before any of his strategies cause his team to be maimed, as it could cost him his division 3 spot. Prediction: Slipi will win 3-2, a game that could easily go either way will go Slipi's way. The Lodge will slide 1 past 4ll41 in the first 10 minutes, wihich will be matched in the next 15 minutes. Soon after Brodie Lodge will put in one last goal, somewhere around minute 33. In the 60th minute the geckos make their move, two more goals will be scored in these 10 minutes, and Slipi will win. *if this is even close to factual, I declare myself to be abedayo's GOD* Match #3 FC The Atelantaded vs FC Bayern Munchen FC The Atelantaded has a GK everyone could stand to be jealous of. Rated 74 and 19 years old, this GK has singlehandedly carried the team to their current position. A very lightweight team as his strength is a mere 7. Hostiled as a child at the low ranking of 23, this goalie is a true testament that determination, a good coach, and a lot of semi legal tactics will get you anywhere. However this causes a lack of care towards the other players, and it is unlikely Atelantaded will win with a mediocre other 10 players, all of them being quite old and out of practice. Atelantaded is a GK farm squad, a fact that shows in his top 4 salaries are all in GK's, which are all put to work as defense against missles systems on off days. The question is: why with these quality missle defense systems does this team have no quality firearms? FC Bayern Munchen however is a quality team, with excelling midfield, a strong GK and a strong CF, This team proves that Int'l 55 isn't the only place where you can find quality players, but it is the only place where you can find quality players and Timmy. With one of the top 10 players, this guy is a powerhouse Bayern agreed to an interview, but I don't speak Germanese so I had to hire a translator, unfortunately in a fit of rage Rebsiot threw him into a pit filled with rabid fruit which then ate him. He said something along the lines of victory through strong liquor in the Dutch water supply. If there are a series of accidents in the Dutch area, we will undoubtedly blame Munchen's enemys Borussia Dortmund. Prediction: 1:0 win for Munchen. Munchen will control 85% of the possession, and will fire about 50 shots, 20 on goal. Possible Priori #1: Memes Team vs. Bisho's Wassabi Team We all know Bisho as one of the forum gods, but we do not know any of his secrets, including melting past opponents in liquid glass, then watching the glass harden and shatter, taking chunks of the burning corpse with it. Doing this to many of the Memes Team stars, two of which feature in the top 10, is his only hope. Bisho's team is as strong as many of the other teams in the top 32, but not nearly as strong as Memes, who recruited a team of superhuman abilities. Bisho has lent out an 80 GK to Ventus, with that GK he stood a chance. Prediction: Memes 4-1, they simply have the better team. Possible Priori #2: System Boy United vs. Desert E@gle Akleb of Desert E@gle has already admitted defeat and will likely use this as a chance to rest his starters. @Shengli might use his 6 of the top 10 to pound these people into the dirt and feed them manure, or he could use his reserves which would make those players shine their shoes for most of the match, then have their ways with them. Not a good fate either way Prediction: System Boy United 9- 0 Desert E@gle, Shengli got skillz Match # 6 Great MAN UTD vs Invincible United During this match, Invincible's players will become Invisible, provided Great MAN UTD plays his starters, and uses the vast amounts of money in Swiss banks at his disposal to fix the Death Ray found in his basement, which was then sabotaged for his own sake by his band of fan girls, calling themselves Great WOMEN UTD, mainly consisting of anybody bojanv felt was getting old. Invincible hosts no great players, Man Utd has a couple 70's up his sleeve to work with. Score: 3-0 win for Great MAN UTD. Match #7 Ventus vs @system bot@ Ventus has control of "The Best GK," lent to him by Bisho. With that in mind, system bot has a superior midfield, and decent strikers. It is likely to be a close match. While system bot has nothing of interest enough to report, Ventus chooses to use Cthulhu to try to strengthen his players, which spend their time locked up in a dungeon. Ventus has no known association with other expected Cthulhu worshipper, Charlie's Devils, who supposedly turned to Cthulhu after being beaten to a pulp by Demons of Razgriz. Prediction: 2-1 win for System Bot Alternate prediction: 1-1 with System Bot winning off pks Possible Priori #3 Manchester United vs Norseham FC Manchester United, led by @Fermin, is the second highest rated team in the league, behind that led by @shengli. They have one of the top 10 players in an insane CF named Fermín "★Pedro Lopéz★" Guardiola. They are trained like the real Manchester United, with a quality player filling every position. Norseham FC, on the other hand, seem to have just had it lucky these past few weeks, they are trained by nobody, with the results showing on their players physical health, instead they do what any players would do given off time, go out and party. For this reason, Norseham has no business being in round 5, or in his position in division 4. Lets look at the numbers: Norseham FC: Best player: 55 average RIM (2nd best 49 avg RIM) Worst player: 27 average GK Manchester United: Best Player: 82 average CF Worst Player: 54 average RDF Manchester United has 20 players with better averages than the best at Norseham FC, and all 23 better than Norseham's #2 star. Prediction: 8-0 Manchester United win. Possible Priori #4 Nothafrica C.F. vs Deviants Deviants has the strength to beat many other teams left in this private league, unfortunately they cannot beat Nothafrica's 139 game streak, previous striker cup championship victory, and the fact that he has only lost one game since the beginning of time, with 210 wins and 11 draws. Nothafrica will not tell the universe how he wins all his games, probably some ref bribing or some form of substance abuse. The very idea of facing off against such a player is enough to make many people quit Also, the one team to ever beat Nothafrica is now run by a sysbot. Nothafrica C.F. cannot be beaten, and will likely win 2-0. Match #10 Espana vs Real Vija C.F. Espana has won 73 games in a row, has a pair of stars, and was the first in a while to allow a look into their past. In the beginning, rather than putting out GB's for increased credit, he saught out help from a few highly tatooed men from Japan, who lent him 10m. He was arrested for dealing with organized crime lords, and was sentenced to 39 years of prison. His sponsors ran the team until a mass prison break. He now runs from the law, never staying in the same place for more than a week. He never repaid his debt. Vija is another boring div 4 team, except he seems to be a stalker of another team still in this competition, naming two of his players after Bisho. Prediction 3-2 Espana win. Match 11 http://uk.strikermanager.com/noticias_periodico.php?tipo=periodico&id_noticia=200&inside=1 Everyone knows Rebsiot's story, but not many people know juve's: Juve is the standard story of a lab rat involved in a terrible experiment. Now part rat, part wolf, part falcon, part man-gecko urine (experiment seems to have taken place very close to Slipi's hideout in Coventry, right outside of his moat of lizard urine) and seemingly sentient, juve is run by Juve#1, which he acquired through a vast smuggling empire, left to him in the will of the leader of the mysterious organization of pirates, which was disbanded before this season. He smuggled his way into Canada, and sold off the empire following the immediate shutdown of the organization for enough goldenballs to bonus every game this season 4 times. he now bunks with Bigfoot in a one bed cave deep in the Canadian wilderness. Prediction: AC STL 4-1 juve, rebsiot could be more worried about his players catching scurvy than losing. Match 12 pepinillos vs Bertomaister pepinillos pulled an incredible upset on Shaktar Donetsk, but it seems that his 15 minutes of fame are up. Bertomaister is a superior team in nearly every aspect, but not by enough to call it a priori. Prediction 3-1 win for Bertomaister Match 13, a good one to watch SSC Napoli faces off against Central United FC Anyone who was here in season 2 would know that the team that is now SSC Napoli lost 1 nothing to Nothafrica F.C. A great match to watch and it easily could have been the other way around. What they do not know is that SSC Napoli has not evolved much since that defeat, Central United FC are about on par, even slightly better. Prediction 2-2 draw SSC Napoli winning on kicks. Napoli has the superior CF, and a GK that isn't too far behind, Central United have a midfield-centric team, with strikers more suited for good division 5 teams, maybe a couple division 4 teams in the 7-13 place range, but not suitable for this stage in the competition. Match 14 F.C. Barcelona vs. Real Frescano Real Frescano seem to be the better team here, but not by much. Barcelona lack the midfield that is present in most other teams here, but have a good GK. Real Frescano has the superior defense, midfield, and a CF, a major detail missing from FC Barcelona Prediction: 3-2 Frescano victory. Match 15 Marihuana F.C vs Pesteo resurrection Another case of good GK vs good midfield. Yet again the midfield will win, Pesteo ressurection 2-0 Match 16 Marsella F.C. vs U.D. Castellion No chance for an accurate call here, Marsella F.C. is ranked 8, and U.D. Castellion is ranked 18. Team strength would also point to Marsella F.C. but only slightly. Prediction: U.D. Castellion 1-0 Marsella F.C. There can really be no reason why I have the game may go according to my prediction, but there has to be at least a couple upsets, and this one has as good a chance as any.
