Hi, Since all of the google spreadsheets are broken, there is currently no fancy way to calculate progression or training amount. Until now. Today I whipped together an application based on the excellent qooxdoo javascript framework. The application works in a browser, but is designed for use in a mobile phone. Later versions will also be installable as an iphone app directly. I have code in place also to allow for some complex calculations, such as how long it will take to train a junior if you temporarily promote him at the optimal time (Tuesday night) and train him on Sat/Sun once he returns to the junior squad. http://www.chiaraquartet.net/strikermanager/ The application is simple: change any value and the others will update accordingly. Enjoy. |

Not sure why windows I.E. is so picky. Try firefox for now, until I can figure it out. Also, be aware, the simulator is changing in the next season, so I will update the thing then once information is public |

The calculator can now also be used to get training numbers for the new simulator, to be put into production next season. Just click the checkbox next to "New SImulator" For those unfamiliar with this, the kinds of trainings available have changed (there are fewer) and the way they train has changed dramatically. For instance, Parries is gone, and Saves now trains GKs 94% instead of 47%. That's just the beginning. |

Training rates for gk doubles? I think they are still tweaking training on the new simulator. I would base any decisions about how you run your team based on this... |

It's true, this is all conjecture based on Bisho's analysis of the Spanish version of strikermanager. Until we actually see the new beast in action, it will not be set in stone. I'll adjust percentages if necessary when that time comes. I sure hope they do increase Saves to 94% for GK though! | 15/08/2011 05:35 |
