Hey all, Are formations hugely important? I play with a 4-4-1-1 formation (with a RW behind a CF). I use this because it's my best players and gets me an average team score of 50 (not as great as some of you guys i know, but I'm proud of it  ).The reason I ask is I just played 2nd in my league who plays 4-5-1, his team average has got to be 40 or even less. I used a prime against him as he was 2nd and would overtake me to go first if he won and I didn't want that to happen. So I added the bonus and was very confident on a win despite he was playing at home. He raced to a 3-0 at half time, then had his best player sent off (AV 57, 13 more than any of his other players) and I managed to scrape 2 goals back. I lost. Now that was pretty annoying but I'm not here to moan about that. I'm to ask if that would be because of formation or it more likely it just dumb luck? If 4-5-1 is an awsome formation than I'll change to it, just wanted to ask. Cheers all. |

your team just had an off day!! thats what!! the other day, i lost to a team 10 avg below me 0-2... even Barca lost to Herculus... btw, you should consider getting a new CF... 30 shots and only 8 on target! |

Formations are important...but in 7 weeks (assuming new sim) that will all change, so don't radically change your approach if you are in a position to be promoted... |
