afaik... It's based on the proportion of games you win at what level and how long you've been playing the game. If you are a new manager and accept promotion to a higher division, then you'll rocket up the manager tables even if you lose more than you win. I think one of the admins said it doesn't actually affect any in-game mechanic (unlike team ranking... more supporters means more money  ), just pride.This effect should be reduced when we have a stable number of players holding down teams in say div 4 and better, so there are few managers who jump a couple of divisions when they've just started. I would normally say that you shouldn't be mean to the admins, as they're hard at work on the new simulator and will punish your impoliteness... however, the admins are hard at work on the new simulator, so won't be bothering to check random forum threads, so you're ok  (also Bisho and @newbie are on holiday, so no help from them  ) |
