In case you doubt about the price of a player and "COMPRAS_SIMILARES" can't help you, ask us, the @, about it. In this way, you won't take any risk with your transfers | 23/08/2011 14:20 |

Since @ also buy/sell players, determininig player value when there's no comparable sales represents a complete conflict of interest!!!! I mean, you want to open a business for yourself "The buying and selling of players" but you have to go to another business, who does exactly the same thing you do, in order to have transactions approved!?!?! This is an awful system. There should be some way on the stats page of posting a "current market level" and some rule by which we can operate. So now, let me get this straight. One of the consistent complains about this game is admin/moderator/developer communication and complete lack of information regarding game specifics, and we are being asked to contact them in case we are unsure of a transfer? worse, we're being asked to consult you regarding vague rules with guidelines never given where there is an obvious conflict of interest? ---- Edit added below text above was unchanged --- I mean, this is truly disturbing, and pisses me off. 1) With the "COMPARABLE SALES" button, If you punish all sales below the lowest one, there is no way for prices to fall in the market, creating artifical inflation (Resulting in multi-billion dollar players). 2) High avg player transfers are at the complete discretion of @. it's not so obvious now, but will become so as we fight for div 2 and 1. If we have 4 @ and 5 standard players fighting for 5 slots....and 3 of these non-@ go after a few high average players and get them at any sort of discount, then the top 4 can punish them for it and lay out a punitive amount. Meanwhile they can go and snatch up and swap players at will with little or no fear of recourse. The answer is not "ALWAYS BE SURE" because this could mean 2-5 million per transfer as non @ always make sure that they are within market, and @ always take values @ the lowest non-sanctioned level. @newbie said: When you go to the player's profile and mark the option "hire", you'll see a button called "COMPRAS_SIMILARES"(in a near future the button will have a proper name). When you click on it you'll see similar purchases then you'll know what the fair price is. If you have any problem just let us know. Edited by @newbie 23-08-2011 12:25 It's not there, I've tried chrome and IE. So I have a problem, and I'm letting you know. |

I think many players, myself included, have asked for a market valuation tool. It's nice that we will have this soon. I know I've asked several more experience players (thanks to GunnerNic & slipi) the market price before buying & selling a player. It's interesting because I think that many, myself included, thought that the market functioned in a free, western-style auction system. Apparently this is not the case, and instead we have a more socialist price regulated environment. I've withheld selling some of my players because the market looked flat, to me, (and because I can't verify due to no valuation tool), and my players are worth more to me than the open market. Apparently this was a good choice as if they would have gone for less than I wanted, I and the buyer may have been sanctioned. I don't have $20 mill to throw away at this point. If the admins are adamant about creating market floors, I advise them to set a min threshold on players when they are auctioned. For example, if the 70+/22 whatever is valued at $40 mill by the admins, make that the auction's starting price. I'm not a fan of this, but if it would avoid players from being banned due to market forces, I suppose I'd support it. |

I do apologize for the inconvenience I may have caused all of you. I have already told you that in the chat. Hope its fixed soon. So when we ask for player's prices, do we refer the specific player to an @ and ask him to give us the lowest possible price (and risk an @ taking the transfer to himself). or do we just give the @ an avg/age/position and ask for minimum price? Also, can all the @'s agree on a minimum price for each avg/age/position because lets say i talk to one of the @ and he gives me a minimum price. The next day another manager talks to another @ thats gives him another minimum price- there will be lots of disorder in the game that way. I might as well ask all the @'s for the minimum price and see which one of them tells me the lowest i can go for. You should probably increase the multi-offer range to include 60+ average players. I know you won't be able to determine the exact value of these players, but at least it will treat everyone equally and people will not make any transactions that fall below a certain limit. Also, having to ask an @ before buying each and every cheap/high avg player will make people reluctant in buying high average players. Furthermore, given that most the @ dont appear too much, they will not be able to answer every single price question in a short time. Now back to my first post, can you please provide me with a price for that type of player...or do I have to announce to everyone who I will be buying first? |

Also, how is comparable sales determined? plus/minus one year? Similar Forecast? A 22/71 player at top of forecast curve <> 22/71 player FC 80 A 19/71 player is no where near a 22/71 player when FC is unknown to buyer. ---- holding breath for answer on value... |

solirocket said: Can someone from the admins please say what is the minimum price of a player whose average is 70-75 and age<22. I just dont want to get sanctioned for a purchase. Position is also important for a price range to be set, eg for LIM/IM/RIM it could be 2/3 of an LDF/CDF/RDF |
