Every now and then you stop and ask yourself the question... what in the world is this guy doing here? most of the teams on my board are avg 40-45. There are 3 teams that are average 55-60... how did that happen? (esp the one team that is right at or maybe even above 60). Is the way that the leagues are made random? Unless those 3 teams have managers that are as dumb (or dumber) than me, it's going to be a race for 4th place in our division. The only time I like ringers is when they are on my team  Hopefully the lower teams can get some good players from the auctions of the off contract players. |

My previous league (Div 4 / Grp 54) had alot of strong teams. My team average was a mere 51 at full strength, still I ended up getting promoted. Just play along and the season will throw up a few unexpected surprises. |

I think it can be a bit random at times though, In my league last season (div. 5), with around 10 games to go, the fourth placed team was replaced with another team which was well ahead of every other team in the league (average of around 55 when the next best was around 45). Still, they finished third so didn't shake up the top too much but if I'd finished fourth I wouldn't have been very happy. | 17/09/2011 21:57 |
