jacobpark said: I promoted a player yesterday from my High Quality school. Came out to a 16 average with a $52400 contract. LOL. Then again, the school is Korea (2.5 stars... for one of the best soccer countries in Asia). To whoever has the power: Retool the schools tool! EDIT: Got a 17 avg. player... ha! Oh, my Sweden school which I upgraded from Normal to High now produces crappier players. Can a sr @ weigh in? Or can we have an example of the types of students certain schools will now produce? Prove it's not a bug or that the significant decrease is normal. |

What do you want? Good averages? I think that's generated radomly. Do you want progression? You need a school with more than 4 balls in an excellent category. And you will get players with +60% or +70% . |

As discussed, I want to know why my players from Sweden High are worse than the players produced by my Sweden Normal. | 18/09/2011 21:46 |

My guess is that it's a bug, but the question I have is will these players who've been promoted recently be fixed when they fix the bug? I have an excellent school in costa rica that used to give me great players. Recently it gave me a player with an 11 average and 52k buyout clause. | 19/09/2011 01:10 |

maybe its their way to making/training youths harder, therefore making it harder to gain 60+ players. Or just a bug that doesn't change the averages like it used to. | 19/09/2011 02:21 |

What I want is the same as last season, where a player's average went up when he was promoted from the school to the junior club. Last season, for example, I would promote a player with 15 avg and he would start in juniors with a 30 avg. This season, I promote a player with a 15 avg and he stays at a 15 avg. This is a huge waste of money and time for those of us who are trying to develop talent out of schools. | 19/09/2011 03:40 |

@Bisho I agree with you when you say averages and progression are generated randomly and that better school with better quality will lead to better players accordingly. I do not think anyone here would argue that by any means. The reason I made my point earlier in the thread was because it seems that juniors coming out of the school are not similar to the quality that was received before the change. I have no clue if the administrators touched on this aspect of the game or not. Just from experience in the past, It seemed if a person in a school was 16 average with a 50+ progression usually became a 25-30 avg when promoted to junior squad and not stay at 16 average. I do not know whether this was a bug in the game before or it is a bug now or if it is supposed to be that way. The way I see it as someone before mentioned, is that if we are supposed to only be getting 16 avg with 50+ progression after promotion...well then it may not be prudent to have schools at this point in time or at all...one could probably get better results with a decent scout and some GBs. Everything being said in the end i would like to also mention that the admins and coders have done an excellent job with version 3 of this game and hope they keep them coming. When all the bugs are sorted out I think it will be excellent. Thank you again for providing a enjoyable pastime. |
