As someone new to the game (about 1/2 a season) I have not had a lot of production from my schools. But I have kept a spreadsheet of every player produced. Prior to the upgrade, every player's points increased by 55% to 64% when promoted to Jr. Every player now stays the same when promoted. It may not be a bug but if it is, you can bet that I will be shutting down my schools until I have enough $$$ to spend on level 5 schools. 19/09/2011 23:24

Exactly. My Switzerland school just produced a 14 avg player. I also keep track and prior to the upgrade, the lowest Switerland player was a 24 avg player (and that was Normal, not High as it is now).

Mods, if the schools will now suck, please advise. Or, if this is a bug, please advise. Either way, say something. Nobody is asking for a 50/15 99% progression player from a * low school. Our requests are reasonable and should be acknowledged.

There are multiple people that are waiting to hear whether to close the schools or keep them open. It makes no sense to have schools when a good scout can do the job. I find it interesting that if schools now do suck, that the developers wasted much time adding all sorts of South American schools....

I agree. Lucky for me my schools are all slow producers so I won't even be getting any new players for at least a week. 20/09/2011 03:37

I PM'd an @.

Check my public Sweden and Austria schools. Defining the players as crappy is being generous.

I think it's a bug...

It is.

Yes? Why do you know that's a bug?

Ok here is my observation regarding schools and it is absolutely horrendous if I'm honest. Absolutely horrendous.

Before the update I promoted 19 players from my regular-high schools (all are 4 or 5 stars). The result? All the players were in the 25-40 average range. Sometimes better, sometimes worse and that seems reasonable to me.

Now?

I've promoted 7 players (I had no room to promote them last year, so I had to wait and leave them in the schools) and they are in the 7 (yes SEVEN) to 19 average range.

For me the writing's on the wall - not one player under 25 with the first 19 promotions and then 7 in a row. For me that is big enough statistical population to clearly see that something fishy is going on here.

Did someone send the message with this problem to the admin and did you get the answer what are they doing the fix this problem, because if nothing is done to fix this the schools will become useless.
