Are you not thinking of the bug last season that released 1000's of free players that you could pick up after auction and with your player sec. and scout? If you are, that bug was fixed. It will never happen again, that was a once off. |

Man, I started a 50GB search + a few hours ago. Usually by now there are at least a few players on the list (same parameters I used last season), I'm worried that the search might be a bit gimpy right now and my 50GB are wasted. | 21/09/2011 22:40 |

So we are getting differing views here: 1. I don't know what 'Bug' you are talking about last season when they released 1000's of players. All I'm saying is that (if you look it up in the FAQ section) you can use your scout to find youths that do not have teams, and you can sign them for free. (You don't have to pay a hostile clause or a release clause. They are simply free. 2. I also understand that you will get the "Missing Parameters" message if you attempt to sign a player at the moment that another user has already just signed him. THIS is not the case however and I'm not talking about that missing parameter message. I'm talking about, currently, when running a scout search for players with no teams... the search results return youth players, but you can't sign them for free. They don't actually belong to a team, but you still have to pay a hostile or release clause. |

I'm curious to see what your results are... did you do a search for players "without a team" so that you could attempt to sign them for free? |

I don't know how many times I can say this - I am finding free youth players and signing them. I signed one again today. My scout finds a mix of freebies in addition to youths with no team but have a hostile clause. As sgand mentioned sometimes other players beat your scout to the proverbial punch and already sign them. Are you saying there is a fourth scenario? VinnyD are you sure every player your scout returns is without a team but has a hostile clause?? Why does the bug, if it is one, affect you but not me? I've found freebies several days in a row... |
