 Check all of my games line-up ratings... can someone please explain why my defenders are always performing so badly? It's beginning to bug me. 21/09/2011 11:52

First-team player
 Don't go solely by the ratings watch the play and see if they are really playing badly. I have had instances where my defenders locked down the opponent pretty well but didn't have great averages I was still happy with their job. 21/09/2011 12:47

 If you have fast defenders, try using "man to man". If you use zone, make sure you really do clog up the "zones" (use more than 3 defenders for sure!) 21/09/2011 15:46

So where will you set the parameters before you will know if you are defending in zone or man to man? 		21/09/2011 17:20

 In the tactic, them implement it with advanced tactics.

You can look at the team you are facing and see what positions they are strong at and plan accordingly. Of course, against many teams that does not work because they switch up their tactics/players from game to game. 		21/09/2011 22:57

 1. click "home" at the top of the screen

2. click the little whistle on the menu on the left of the screen

3. click "tactics"

4. click the red "tactic" button

5. slide the bar under "defense" closer to "man to man"

6. click "save"
