ok, after losing my first match in 'friendly week', i've come to realise that, its way better than the previous sim. Teams that never had a chance now have one. I played a manager with a 60 average team in the week, a team that would have wiped me out 4-0 or more last season, lost to me 2-0 and this wasnt just one of those freak games of the previous season. The stats actually showed my team played better. With or without the bugs, this sim has a bright future. Well done to the devs. My prediction for the season, look out for a team with no god-like players(70 ave. And up) to win the striker cup. |

I predict a team with 70+ avg players will win the cup. Because I have such players. Agreed on bugs vs. old sim. Now I can actually see where I can beat my head against the table because of the sim. Before it was just a total guess. The randomness of the scores I think may disappear as people master the strategies/tactics. I am already noticing less variation as I get a grip on it. |

It would be funny to see a system bot win the Striker cup. We don't know what these system bots can do now that there is this new simulator Edited by patient 24-09-2011 03:05 |

the randomess will disappear, hence my prediction. So it wont be just about having higher average players. To win matches consecutively is going to be a challenge. | 24/09/2011 06:48 |

The old sim seemed impenetrable to me, and then I figured it out. The new sim seems impenetrable at first, but because we can see it, it's far less difficult to penetrate. I think win streaks will be likely, but it will have far less to do with the quality of the players. However, the teams that have both high-quality players and a really smart manager will dominate everyone. Those with high-quality managers and OK players will simply outperform those teams 5-10 points higher than don't understand formation. | 24/09/2011 06:51 |

just won another match... http://uk.strikermanager.com/inicio2.php?seccion=ultimo ... And this chaps a div.3 manager. He probably didnt play his best squad, but his 3rd team is still better than mine. The focus is more on tactics than averages this term. Edited by Illiterate 24-09-2011 08:05 |
