If people get punished for playing extra friendlies. Then deduct the value of players people got for free I have benefited alot of these extra friendlies but no where near teams getting free 50+ players. 27/09/2011 20:21

not true.

after -10% + 20% net -12% my squad was just about break even, with almost no net gain.

That -12% hurt everything, forecast, avg, total value. I maybe got a few totally average backups that spent most of season on bench....And I retooled my squad mid-season on top of that.

My guess is that after the top dozen or so teams are leveled out, it will be a similar situation... but there is no reason for a mass penalty similar to last season. The people who have played a lot of games will be easy to spot. The people who have benefited monetarily will also be easy to find.

Total Friendlies Revenue > $x

total revenue = total revenue - (friendly revenue - $x) -- where x is determined cap.

Last season it was subtract 20% from (some undetermined location) on all senior players whose last transaction was $0 hostile....

So hopefully the resolution will be quick and easy to calculate.

This thread enforces another possible solution:

http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/hilo.php?id=263855

There are STILL some teams who have not been allowed to schedule a single friendly (again, due to bugs).

The best solution was to remove all financial rewards and stop weekly expenses last week.

It's too late for that, and so the next best solution is to allow unlimited friendlies and provide an income cap of $15 million and reset all player experience on Thursday night. This way those unfortunate teams can avoid bankruptcy, nobody benefits unfairly and we can move on.

Not true in your case.
You currently have a 72/17 rdf that originally came from the bug. With the slight decrease would make that player still over 60. One 60+ 16 yearold defender would be equal to me playing over 100 friendlies. Oh ya not including that super stud phewee
I'm not saying you did anything wrong or anybody that benefited from free players from last year. However, punishing people for exploiting a glitch now and not in the past doesn't make sense. Both were ways managers improved their team with minimal effort (money from friendlies or free players)

You have no clue what I let go of.... I had the equivalent of him, he was crushed by the 12% penalty. So I ended up getting + a couple points on him. The rest of the squad decreased to offset. My senior squad was just about net 0 avg...I got a few backups.... And that RDF was BY FAR the best player in the senior $0 group. (originally 125M escape).

Outside of phewee, who's talent may or may not be realized, was a $0 junior, so he was perfectly legal under any circumstances.

His -2 years came as a result of the correction....not the original bug.

I never realized i was breaking the rules...in acutallity i didnt know how many friendlies i was playing...i just assumed the game controlled this feature...now i know better...on friday i only play 2 friendlies...do you think it will avg out so that 2 days has 6 friendlies in stead of one day with 4 and another with 2 friendlies.... 28/09/2011 03:07
