Dear users. Kindly read this FAQ before asking your questions in the forum. If you still cannot find an answer to your question then ask it in the Doubts and Questions forum. http://uk.strikermanager.com/foros/foro.php?id=957. Remember this is a manager game so you will not control individual players on the pitch, rather you'll be able to see a simulated match in which each moment is dictated by the strategies and formation that both you and your opponent have created. Q: What does History button in "board" do? A: It shows a graph of the selected teams' position on the league board during the course of the current season. The Stadium button shows income from the last match for all of the teams' stadiums. The Career button shows the league winner for previous seasons in that league. Q: What is the record page in Stats? A: It shows the all time highs of following areas :- • Top signings – Top 10 amounts paid to acquire a player • Top Teams with seasons In First Division – Division 1 does not yet exist and so this is currently empty • Top scorer – Top 3 all time scorers • Striker Cup Winners – Managers who have won the previous striker cups Q: How are the best goals awarded? A: All managers can vote for goals scored by any team. The most popular 10 goals show up on the upper side. The lower side is for goals recently voted as a best goal. Q: How can I change my kit? A: Click on the jersey on the lower left and you can select from there. Some kits are locked which can be unlocked by paying 5 golden balls each time. For pack managers all are unlocked. Q: How can I change the font colour of my chat sentences? A: The font colour is the colour of your team shirt (kit). Q: What are the different ways by which I can buy players? A: The different ways are as follows:- 1. Bidding in auction. Some players have a direct buy price by which you can immediately by the player without waiting for the auction to finish. 2. Mutual agreement between 2 managers - this is a transfer agreement. 3. Paying the release clause of the player, commonly called "Hostile Clause." If someone pays the release clause of your player, then will not be able to negotiate a price, and the player is sold to the other manager. The player will automatically leave your team after 24hrs, or you can choose "Sell Now" to sell the player right away and receive the money. 4. Multi offer. Transfer players of similar value. If the player or players to transfer do not have the exact same value, then money is used to make up the difference. Only players with an average of 60 or below can be multi-offered 5. Loan. This option is only available until the middle of the season. Loaned players return to their home team at the start of the next season, and cannot be bought, sold, or returned to the home team during the season. Q: What does the "Notify Me" button in Market do? A: For the time period specified, and up to 72 hours, all players placed on auction that match the limiting criteria you specify will show up in a message from your scout. For example, you can search for all LW with average between 60-65 and age 19, or all players average between 40-45, or all CF, etc. Q: When I try to buy a player by paying his release clause, why do I get the message: "You can not buy this player and you just get to your current equipment " A: A) The manager is a rookie and you have to wait until he/she has 8000 experience points B) The player has just been promoted or purchased and cannot be bought by hostile clause until 24 hours after the promotion or purchase time. C) You are a rookie and must have 8000 experience points in order to buy a player by hostile clause * Note: managers under 8000 exp points are also not able to set the “direct buy” option on their auction sales. Q. When I tried to purchase a player, I was not able to and a message came which said that "The player do not want to relegate to your team". A. You are not allowed to buy from a team that is more than 3 divisions higher than you. e.g. If you are Division 6 then you can buy from Division 3 but not division 2. Q: Why I cant negotiate with this team? A: Because you have shared or similar IP.(i.e. same household / college etc) Q: I placed a bid on a player at auction. How can I remove a bid? A: If you bid on a player, you can't remove it. If someone outbids you then your bid will be released. Q: Can I remove a player from auction? A: Only if no one has placed a bid. Go to the player => Contract => See auction => Cancel auction. Q: I have to play a match at 14:00 and I have a player who's on sale. The auction will finishes at 14:20, can he play the match? A: Yes Q: How many players can I loan? A: 3 seniors and 3 juniors. But you can't loan more than 1 player to a single team. Q: Can I buy/ pay hostile clause (of) a player from a "System bot" team? (a team managed by System Bot instead of a human manager) A: No Q: Why is my staff not working? A: Staff won't work if your team is in the red (has less than 0 dollars/pounds/euros). Q: My Coaching Secretary and Scout didn't find any players? A: They didn't find any with the criteria you selected. Try a less limited search. For example, if you searched for all players from China in Division 7 with Both feet, salary less than $2000 and release clause less than $100,000 you won't find any players. Try a search for players from China in Division 7 first, and only limit if you get too many results. Q: My money was deducted in the middle of week. What happened? A: Doctor, physiotherapist and psychologist charge a small amount every time they finish their work. Q: How can I increase the quality of my staff? A: Go to the staff page then click the training button in the upper right. You have 2 options. Course and degree. Courses will increase the quality by 1% and you have to pay cash. Degrees will increase the quality by 2% and will cost you 100 golden balls each. Q: Can I remove a training? A: Yes, all excluding yesterday's training Q: When is it recommended to promote a junior player? A: Juniors should not be promoted before a yellow "P" appears by their name and the youth coach sends you a message. Players do not have to be promoted until the yellow P turns into a red "P." When a player gets a red "P" (which only happens at the age of 19) he must be promoted ASAP. Players start to lose motivation and their morale and overall average drop significantly. Q: When does the yellow "P" appear in front of juniors? A: With this average/age: 80/14 70/15 60/16 50/17 40/18 Q: How do I send a promoted junior back to the junior team? A: This is not possible Q: Why is my team average different in "View Opponent" from the one I saw in "Line-Up"? A: This screen shows the average of the players you fielded in the last game as they actually played. This number will change based on the performance of your opponent and the formation/tactics. The Line-Up team average is only an estimate of performance in the game. Q: How many players can I have in my senior squad? A: 25. 3 additional player spots on the senior squad are available for a price of 250 golden balls each. The extra spots are available to the end of the season. The Junior Squad is limited 25 spots with no further extensions allowed. Q: What is the "Similar transaction" button for? A: It shows the prices of players of the same position and age with a similar average. You can use this to set a price for a player transfer that will be fair and will not be punished as a cheat. It is always best to use the most recent prices when setting a price. Q: What is "Show training" button? A: It lets the other users see the training graph of your player. If you have chosen to pay 10 golden balls to view your player's forecast of training, others can see this too. Q: What is the versatility stat? A: It shows how easily a player can adjust to different positions. This pertains to stats/attributes only - For example: If an IM with pass 99, versatility 99, plays as RIM, he might get his pass reduced to 95 but if another IM with pass 99, but 0 versaltility, plays as RIM, he might get his pass reduced to 88 instead Q: How many experience points are required to get an increase of level, and at what level can I increase my player’s particular skill level to 2? A: You must have at least 3 skills at level 1 to increase a skill to level 2. Player experience and levels: Level 1 - 3 Level 2 - 6 Level 3 - 10 Level 4 - 14 Level 5 - 18 etc. (every 4) Q: How often will I get to a new skill level? A: Roughly twice per season Q: How can I increase the morale and fitness and stamina? A: The Physiotherapist is for fitness and Psychologist for morale. http://uk.strikermanager.com/empleados.php. Stamina can ONLY be recovered by resting a player. 10 stamina points are regained every evening with the daily training. · Low fitness going into a game drops stamina heavily. · Low morale lowers a player's total average and performance in a game. · Low stamina also has an effect on average, but not as much as morale. Q: When do I have to pay my players and staff salary and school and stadium maintenance? A: The early morning of every Monday (GMT+1). All expenses are weekly, including salaries. Q: How much time can I be in red numbers before lose my team? A: 14 days Q: How much does maintenance cost for each of the different stadium tiers? A: As follows: Standing => 1€/place General => 10€/seat Pro => 30€/seat VIP => 70€/seat Q: How does Stadium Construction work? A: Click on Stadium -> Manage -> Remodel Here, you can choose sections of your stadium to build and upgrade Costs vary depending on Stadium Tier and Type of Seat All new sections added to stadium are Standing Type Seat. You can only build General, Pro, VIP by upgrading lesser section (i.e. standing upgrades to general. general upgrades to pro, pro upgrades to vip. in order build vip seats, you must first have built standing, then upgraded that section 3 times) Every increase or upgradation of section takes 1 week to complete. However you can decrease the same by using Speed up button which cost 250 golden balls and decrease the time taken to 50% of the remaining. This option is not available if the remaining time is less than 8 days. Seat............ Costs.......... Effect Standing..... ~1M ........... +6k Standing Seats, Stadium Capacity Increase 6k General....... ~1-2M.........+6k General Seats, -6k Standing Seats, Stadium Capacity Increase 0 Pro............... ~6M ........... +6k Pro Seats, -6k General Seats, Stadium Capacity Increase 0 VIP............... ~18M ......... +6k vip seats, -6k pro seats, Stadium Capacity Increase 0 (Note: The above amount refers to cost of construction of Tier 1 only. The cost increase with the increase in tier) Q: Do the billboards cost money? A: No, billboards give you money every home game Q: What are the rate of interest charged and given on credits and deposit? A: The interest rate is applicable for 1 striker year i.e. 13 weeks. Deposits have floating rate of interest and will give you earnings as per the rate prevalent on Monday morning. However credits are fixed and interest is charged on the rate at which they were originally taken. Q: Can one pay back Credit early? A: Yes if you have money go to credits page and click "Amortise" next to the loan you would like to repay. Q: What does a public school mean? A: When a manager marks his school as public, others can see the players in that school just like you can, including their progression. This is useful for selling the players. Only you have the power to promote a junior from a school, even if it is public. Q: Will I get my investment back if I close a school? A: No Q: What do the buttons in the upper left of the simulator screen do? A: Button 1 – Full screen Button 2 – Change in game speed (slow motion or regular speed) Button 3 – Pause and start the match Button 4 – Hide or show the name of player and exhaustion level of players Button 5 – Mutes and unmutes the audio Button 6 – Replay. The game rewinds 30 seconds and plays in slow motion. Q: What does the green bar above each player on the field represent? A: 20% of your overall stamina for that player. For example if your player started at 99 stamina and uses his entire green bar he will have at best 79 stamina at the end of the game. (Assuming he has 99 fitness otherwise it will be much more if fitness is low) Q: Can I remove a 50 golden ball bonus on a game? A: No Q: What are Partners? A: They buy season tickets and use the general seating area. Q: What are Supporters? A: Your teams's virtual supporters. More of them, more benefit for you. Your ticket revenues, sponsor and tv offers are all better with more supporters. Q: Which teams will be promoted to a higher division? A: The teams in top spots on the board that will be promoted are marked in green. Teams that might be promoted are marked in yellow. Those with the best record at the end of the season will be promoted. Q: Can I unsubscribe from a private league? A: Only if the league games have not started. Q: How do they come up with the stadium Rankings? 1 * (# of Standing Seats) + 1.5 * (# of General Seats) + 3 * (# of Pro Seats) + 5 * (# of VIP Seats) so a stadium of 30,000 standing, 30,000 General, 30,000 Pro, 30,000 VIP = (1*30,000)+(1.5*30,000)+(3*30,000)+(5*30,000) = 315,000 Q: What effect do premiums have on games A: Every premium increases overall average of every player by 0.5 points. But it's effect gets lowered once you have more than 10 premiums in your match, so every premium above 11 its not 0.5 increase, but less. Edited by @bluegene 20-02-2012 10:49 |
