I believe progression has been lowered on all the players who were around with the old sim, so the new guys have a chance to catch up. | 06/10/2011 03:54 |

That would be the granddaddy of all blowups... It would make last year's "free" players and this years "friendlies" look like a joke. | 06/10/2011 04:04 |

Well, it does look a bit drastic, but the guys were saying if we had players starting off at 40 they'd be at 80 in a couple seasons. They don't want all the div 4 and 3 teams to have a ton of 99's Edited by hewhoamareismyself 06-10-2011 04:11 |

hewhoamareismyself said: I believe progression has been lowered on all the players who were around with the old sim, so the new guys have a chance to catch up. the chance of this is 0. what has happened (and this is public) is that high-average players train more slowly than low-average players. However, since stats now matter much more than total average, perhaps we shouldn't be too upset. Several of my high-progressing players improved .6 on their individual stats, one went up .7 on strength. Also, the developers stressed that only individual stats are used now in the simulator, so if a CF has amazing finishing, he will score far more often at the goal box, and 54 is noticeably better than 50, for instance. With shots on goal training, I can get a high-progressing CF to 54 finishing in just 8 training days. This is similar to how training worked last season for high-progressing players, if one looks only at the individual stats. The question is, how do we take this information and calculate progression? One of the implications is that a CF with very high finishing will train very slowly (low progression) with shots on goal, and an unanswered question is whether the same CF wlil train faster (high progression) with a low dribbling value when training dribblings. Either way, making a progression calculator just got REALLY complicated :/ |

agreed. Until they publicly announce training is finished, I don't think we should take anything as finalized. | 06/10/2011 04:35 |

This is similar to how training worked last season for high-progressing players, if one looks only at the individual stats. i think u cant get CF from 50 to 54 in 8 days with shots on goal my CF is 48avg 88% prog and i trained yesterday shots on goal and he move up 0.26 on finishing(u will need like 16 days) i like new training but i think it should be little bit faster coz high avg player is not so strong here like on old sim and those who already have high avg players are in big advantage i buy last season 45 high prog. players 25 juniors and 20 seniors(with that money i could have buy 4-5 70+ players) maybe training should be x2 we train all position so to get good stats we will need very long time(i know that they are aiming on that but i think its a bit slow) Edited by brezzette 06-10-2011 06:06 Edited by @CelloG 06-10-2011 06:10 |
