The one really stupid thing about the new simulator (as opposed to the old one and in reality) is that almost always only the forwards are allowed to shoot/score. | 07/10/2011 00:05 |

Well, that doesn't help at all. My midfielders are constantly in the mix, they get off 3 shots a game give or take. But you play 3 forwards with your RIM/LIM laying back, so with 3 ball and shot hogs, they won't get many shots, AND they won't shoot from midfield. Even so, your guys have a couple of shots...one's even scored both in Cup and League play....and you only had 2 cup games!! Your inside midfield doesn't shoot, but what can you do. Maybe a tactical or formation change would net more shots for your midfield if that's what you desire. So have I studied your squad enough? Edited by @rebsiot 07-10-2011 01:32 |

ya if you want more shots from your midfield, play around with advanced tactics. Move the ball up to around the 18 yard box and move your midfielders closer to the net when the balls around there. I like keeping my mid back, as my forwards will always get the goals and I would rather have my mids worry more about picking up loose balls and helping the defense. With 2 or 3 forwards you dont need your mid getting too involved in the attacks as that will unbalance your team and leave you pretty open for counterattacks. |
