hi, ive just been offered a chance to move up from 5 to div 4. currently im in top spot on my board and was wondering if anyone new would i benefit by excepting the offer ?? i think i would be better off trying to win my league and get promoted that way thus saving the accessories expense and proberly just going straight back down next season anyway as the teams in div 4 are far better on paper than mine. but on the other hand would it be better to accept the offer due to the game revenue increasing if only for one season?? any comments are welcolme thanks |

I guess it depends on your shirt sponsorship also - the per games won and end of season bonus. You also mentioned accessories - If you don't stay in Div4, you'd have to pay the stadium accessories at a div4 price whilst playing in div5 next season. Also like you mentioned you'd have to upgrade them at 1.7 million per. I guess I wouldn't go, but I didn't see you team or the div4 opponents, or know if you have a shot to stay up. Good luck either way! |

Thanks, i average 45 the teams average 60 in the league 4 slot so ill stay put i think, Also as you mentioned didnt consider the end of season bonus which is to stay in the top 10, not a chance in the div 4 so youve made my mind up for me!! many thanks |

If it was last season I would've advised you to take the offer, as just by being an active manager can make a massive improvement. This season, i don't know what is going on. So better bet is to stay and win your league and so get good deals from TV and Sponsors for next season. Plus you can test your tactics on lesser teams. | 10/10/2011 18:33 |
