How would you do it? You've already got a squad of players, their nationality is essentially arbitrary. You can play friendlies with them and then there's the striker cup. I'm not sure it would really add anything. | 20/10/2011 03:51 |

It would add more depth to the game maybe something else to work for, even maybe adding a national manager. And then it would open up different avenues in which you could play to its not a horrible idea | 20/10/2011 05:16 |

.... there would be a lot of advantage for germany... as the default ntionality is germany, the mayority of the players are german... and the best of them are german too..  however, there wouldn't be so many dates avaiable to play, and i'd bet most of us would be complaining about our players playing in the national team and not being able to play for our teams, getting tired, and all this stuff... My point is that it wouldn't really add any depth. The game is already as deep as what you suggest. Instead of having a squad of players of different nationalities and varying averages, you'd have a squad of players from the same country and varying averages. Since nationalities are arbitrary, what you're really asking for is managers having a second team to manage. I can understand that there's a certain spark to the idea of managing a team in the world cup, but in reality, given the scope of this game, the idea is superficial.
