I am trying to play with some numbers, but since my stadium is under construction I can not view the screen with the data I need. Could someone provide the following?

Cost to upgrade a single section from

Nothing to Standing =
Standing to General =
General to Pro =
Pro to VIP =

Does anyone know what it costs to maintain a single section of a stadium by seating type?

Standing =
General =
Pro =
VIP =

Does anyone have an average ticket price idea for seating types?

Standing =
General =
Pro =
VIP =

I am doing some economic models to calculate how many games it takes to earn money back for stadium seating and have the ability to project revenue on stadium investments made.. These numbers are necessary to start the modeling.

I am div 5 as well. My stadium is 66000 seats.(just upgraded). At 60000 seats I was always having attendance at 51 to 57000. I have standing at $15, general at $40, pro at $60. You will want to add 6 to 12000 pro seats when you can. I did not make good money until I put in the pro seats. As for vip, div five may not be worth the cost $18 million per 6000 seats. Maybe 6000 vip tops. if you put vip at $84, that would give you $504,000 per game. 37 matches to make money back.(remember $250,000 construction fee for remodel). I hope this helps. 30/10/2011 05:00

Average ticket price varies widely, depending on team rank or division, number of wins, rank or division of opponent, and number of seats. I've seen (even with myself) anywhere from 90 all the way through 145 (so far)

All other sections are the same way

Here are the numbers I'm getting right now.

Cost to upgrade:
Nothing to Standing = 1,330,000
Standing to General = 2,050,000
General to Pro = 6,250,000
Pro to VIP = 18,250,000

In Div V last season, I opted for "optimize ticket pricing," and this is roughly what it gave me:
Standing - 41
General - 45
Pro - 91

Selling 14,000 Standing, 24,000 General, and 11,500 Pro (49,700 total), I pull in around 2,700,000 for a home match now with these prices.
I'm going to lower standing prices and see if I can't get a larger crowd, but the income is phenomenal!

Sorry about maintenance, I have no idea on that one.

Good luck, hope this helps.

I think these costs include the 250,000 for one time charge as well...

Yes, that is correct. Total cost to build one of these upgrades, 250,000 included.

Does anyone upgrade more than one section at a time? I figured it is a waste to build it but not be able to see the revenue from it asap.
i.e. upgrade 1 section from General to Pro: takes ~1 week. Upgrade another section when completed. Then, you get the extra 6,000 Pro seats for matches after the first week while the second section is being upgraded.
Otherwise, you have to wait ~2 weeks to see anything coming back, if you upgrade 2 sections at once.

Or am I missing a bigger picture here with that extra 250,000?

i upgrade only Pro and VIP at a time... General and Sitting go in bulks...

it is a simple calculation of whether you get extra 250k by building the seats a week faster..

Hi

Bit of a side question this, but in everyone's experience what do you set partners season tickets at before numbers of new partners start to dry up. I'm in div 6, top of league currently set at 375, and getting a steady 50-100 partners increase. Anyone know what a reasonable price to set in Div 5?

Cheers

i normally set it at 50*sitting prices... that is what it is worth... (no of home games in a season + an extra to compensate for increase)

Some early numbers have it taking the following # of games to earn back revenues using conservative ticket pricing...

Standing (6 games)
General (13 games)
Pro (30 games) limited ticket pricing data
VIP no good ticket pricing data

If you play a private league you get about 30 home games a season so most seating options will pay for themselves within a season. Once a section is paid for you can expect to earn probably at a minimum the following per season:

Standing ($4.8m)
General ($7.2m)
Pro ($9.5m) limited ticket pricing data
VIP no good ticket pricing data

Trying to collect some more data and make some more predictive type models.
