I think there is a problem with the match engine. The last game i completely dominated that match my ratings were much higher than the opposition I had 22 offsides 7 disallowed goals and ended up losing the game 1-0. A bit pathetic if you ask me and hardly realistic. | 02/11/2011 19:12 |

I assure you this. You would get a more welcome response if your comments weren't a bit pathetic. |

I watched the first 10 minutes of your game. The reason you are getting clobbered with offside calls is you are playing your forwards to far forward. You need to adjust your tactics or it will keep happening. | 02/11/2011 19:51 |

Try setting your Att line further back in Tactic setting and/or pull your forwards starting positions back and/or dont let them end up right in the six yard box in advanced formation setting when the ball is half way up the pitch. Maybe you tried this already, I dunno. It all depends on you trying to second guess the other teams set-up as well. | 02/11/2011 19:53 |

To be clear I was referring to the players who were playing in a forward position rather than players who were specifically forward. I think you, like myself use your LIM/RIM in an attacking role. |

I never knew that the offside trap strategy would be that popular when i started using it. It sure is annoying lots of people | 03/11/2011 06:27 |

The offside line is a bit stupid as you can't react to it in a game while watching it. If you are playing a team with a defense playing a high line, and you were getting caught off side 5times in the first 10mins, then you'd adjust your attacking line and drop deep. If you are playing a team that are staying close to their own goal, and your own attackers are playing close to the halfway line, then it's difficult to attack, so you'd push them forward. There very little tactics involved here as you can't adjust to the situation in the game, and the players are just dummy's that follow the strategy issued before the game. It's a flaw in the game, but not one that can be easily resolved. |
