Probably not 4th place. The teams that will be promoted are in green. I think there is a yellow band that may mean promotion, but someone else should clarify. Id ensure you are in the green band if you want promotion. | 09/11/2011 17:33 |

There are 16 groups in Div 3 20 in a group bottom 8 go down top 5 go up to Div 2 leaving 7 left in each group staying in Div 3 - 13 required to fill each group - 13 x 16 = 208 teams needed from Div 4 There are 64 groups in Div 4 x 20 teams = 1280 teams Top 3 go up and 16 best 4th places go up to fill 208 open slots in Div 3 bottom 8 go down x 64 = 512 teams go down Leaving 1280 - 512(down) - 208 (up) = 560 open slots to fill from Div 5 There are 256 groups in Div 5 x 20 teams = 5120 teams Top 2 teams in each group go up = 512 So to fill 560 open slots in Div 4: 560 - 512 = 48 best 3rd placed teams in Div 5 go up. Clear as Mud?  |

What about Div 7? I'm in 3rd place with 80 points, more than many 1st and 2nd place Div 7 teams. Is there any provision for 3rd place Div 7 teams to be promoted or am I just out of luck because I took over a team in round 21 that was in the middle of the board, but have gone 16-1-1 since. No yellow in your league, you'll be staying. However you can just take a jump to div 6 when it's offered to you. I'm sure you'll get a few next season. | 19/12/2011 23:30 |

IMO, you should have to be an "active manager" to be considered for promotion from Div 7 to keep those managers that signed up and haven't logged in since from being promoted (and were lucky to take over a 1st or 2nd place team) over those that actively work to improve their team. One other question...when you take over another team, do your players go to that team or do you take over the other players? |
