In real football, if you place your densive line on the goal line then you would lose not matter who your team is. Maybe it should be titled, stock formations need improving so we all don't have to do any work at all on our tactics. In fact there should be a stock "high offside trap" and a stock "low offside trap". Then no-one can complain that they are disadvantaged by not wanting to spend a couple of days creating their own. Maybe the formations that win the most games could be added to the stock formations, then give it a season or two and no-one will ever have to bother looking at their formations ever again. While we're at it, I think we should get rid of those scary bars on the tactics screen and have every team set at a default level. After that I think we should get rid of that pesky match Sim and go to a more simple one, one where if you have the best team you win. Probably based around who has the most midfielders, just cos that's more realistic.  |

No just make strikers more intelligent about when to make runs, be able to do over the top through balls and CDF's shouldn't be able to slide tackle down the field like they are on ice. My CDF's actually move faster while doing the tackle animation then when running. Give red cards for fouls from behind when they get through, but also give the option for the defender not to go steaming in like Gary Palister used to do and run around for the tackle or push the forward out wide. This isn't that hard to fix. |

also make midfielders smarter, if they are past the last defender make them run to the goal and shoot instead of passing to attacker who's in offside. @shengli said: If I had opened this thread, my title would have been "The tactics are too much powerful". I'm not complaing, as the most probable is that my tactics are horrible, I accept that . But I take a look to the cup and I can't see any top team on it, and that's not normal... I agree with giving more importance to the tactics as they had with the old sim, but now I think it's not properly balanced. |

When this season starts, I lost a lot of matches. Sometime at that time I’m about to retire from playing SM. However, some seniors provide me good info as well as the forum. Everything’s great. I may not win with very good team and even I’ve also lost to a lower average team but I however find this game entertaining. I don’t see it is advantages in any expect of this simulator, because everybody have their chances of using any possibilities on taking chances of winning. The only ‘advantage’ is, to whom that studied opponent and also review other’s matches for knowledge. That’s what manager should do isn’t? We can’t always win as it’s the same in real life football. When we win, we celebrate. If we’ve lost, then we must find solution to get the win again. Sorry, I'm just a newbie slotted in the seniors discussion. =P |

Someone who doesn't know how to understand the game. In that case we were all newbie's at the start of the season and now we're all equal, as far as experience of the new sim goes. I guess it just P's me off when people think that they should win because they've been here longer(my game syndrome) |
