How the hell do you keep your players onside? Any formation I put them in even in a defensive minded formation, with the attackers set towards the back, they keep going offside non stop. I can not sustain any offense because of it and if i can't figure it out I'm just going to stop playing because its not realistic. | 08/02/2012 19:38 |

I just checked it out and it looks great. I tried doing an advanced formation and it let me move the players around but how do i set them to be even with the ball. I'm trying to accomplish that but if i move them to much it tell me its an invalid tactic. | 09/02/2012 04:09 |

You can't change the starting box( the middle one) too much. Place your players in the start box in their starting positions and move the players around in the other boxes. | 09/02/2012 10:05 |

I tried making the adjustments so that my players would come to the ball when it was in the attacking end. I used advanced formation and it seemed like it would work but it has not. It appears all the tinkering has made my team worst and now they are constantly kicking it backwards instead of advancing the ball forwards. They are inept in passing and I just don't know what else to do to correct this problem. I evaluated my last couple opponents and have better players so it makes no sense. | 10/02/2012 19:36 |

You've got short passing in the tactics screen too much. bring it up to about half way( or more if you have your players a long way apart) and it should sort that out. ie they won't pass to someone who's far away if you have too much short passing. Edited by @grantis45 10-02-2012 19:40 |

Okay that works and as for the formation and them still constantly being offside how do I fix that. I did my best to pull the forwards even with the ball using advanced formation but i was not successful what so ever. Thanks for the help. | 10/02/2012 19:41 |
