A dude with acl tear will not be training.

Most injuries of any sort will forgo sprint and run...

Its too complex to program. I would make injuries trainable at a % of recovery.

90% recovered, 90% training.

That would make it easy... Not.

I think for a player to loose his training attributes like obviously starting motivation is a bit harsh as a player getting a long term injury is random and it would only open up complaints and ill feeling that manager feels like he has been picked on and punished is some way as his maybe star player cant play and now cant even improve for weeks thus denoting him as a waste of space and a total waste of money spent.

There would have to be a prerequisite set like if a player has a lower fitness level or a lower stamina level then he is at risk of being injured for a long period but this would have to be a pre agreed thing with input from all SM managers so there could be no scope for an unfair treatment feeling by all managers.

Billyo, I don't think this will be as much of a problem as it was on the old simulator (where it was virtually no problem) because much more training is now done on the junior level.

Still, it's a good point and I do think it should be affected by fitness.

The way I would view it is this :
Say a player with 99% fitness /99% stamina has say1% chance of piching up a long term injury of 2 weeks
A player with 80% fitness / 80% stamina has a 10% chance of picking up a long term injury of 4 weeks
A player with 50% fitness/50% stamina has a 50% chance of picking up a long term injury of 8 weeks

This is only off the top of my head so its open to much debate and Im sure much comment but the way I see it is if a manager minds his players and keeps them fit and rotates his team then the less chance of a long term injury so a good manager who minds the players need not worry.

But would this increase an already inflated market that can not really be reversed not with peolpe already deciding to spend big money on players.
But as you work up or down divisions the the price is equalised to that division. What is might do is inprove the value of an older player (good effort's were made in this area last last season) A manager might decide to have an older player of a lower price as a back up player or an older player with a higher average as his starting player and as he wants to sell on the price would not drop that much because there would always be a market for these players and it might make squad selecting more important in the sincee of a younger with older player in preferred positions allowing younger good players available to a wider scope of managers

As the sayinf goes.......just my 2 cent worth
