No if a player is offside and he leaves the ball it isn't offside 19/02/2012 17:26

no i agree with the guy here, the other player is interfering with play, and that's offside, whether he touches the ball or not doesn't matter, he's made the defender have to take action. offside is confusing but in this instance it definitely should be, its one of the things that this game is a bit simplistic about i think 19/02/2012 18:25

Technically speaking yes. In this game no. The current definition suffices in 97% of cases, and we all know if they try to fix it they will screw up the first 3 times and instead of making a couple people angry in a few choice circumstances EVERYONE will be miserable for weeks.

Oh no I know, the real life refs can't get it right so im not expecting it to be perfect, I know the current way works most of the time, this guy has just been unlucky, sometimes simplicity works and a small amount of time. it doesnt 20/02/2012 16:34

I have to agree with both of you here, I looked again and he is interfering with play, however I agree with Hew I really wouldn't want offsides "tweeked" wen 99% of the time they are spot on. 20/02/2012 20:57
