I have a decent team and have been doing well (I beat the current leader 8-1 today). The problem is that when I took over the team the teams ahead of me had a large lead. I have whittled away at the lead and gotten to third. However, even if I beat the second place team (my next game) and win out and they win the rest of their games (which is highly likely) then I am out of luck...and stuck in third. I get offers for other teams often in a higher level. In some cases I might be able to escape regulation. Thoughts? I have heard I shouldn't...I am seeing it as a roll of the dice either way. |

What do you mean? If you beat 2nd the you will have same points as him and everything will be about who scores more goals and conceived the less (currently you both score 65 and got 18 against you). You still have the chance. I think you should wait to see if you beat him first then make your decision. | 21/02/2012 06:51 |

Honestly even if you don't win against second place I still think you shouldn't accept one of the offers you If the league is too strong you might just get relegated anyway Its up to you really Edited by krazy88 21-02-2012 08:54 |

I find if you're going to take the jump, then you want to do it very early in the season otherwise you'd immediately going to have to cough up for accessories. You haven't built Pro seats(and you've only got 1 set of general) so won't really earn that much more money from the jump either. |

Well, I lost my game against the #2 team and am now in quite a predicament. Looks like I am not moving up this season. | 22/02/2012 18:33 |

Irish Isarians said: Well, I lost my game against the #2 team and am now in quite a predicament. Looks like I am not moving up this season. you just started playing 15th January. This is a long term game. Rushing to get promoted will results in a team with an under-developed infrastructure (Stadium, Youth, Senior team, schools etc), Accessories fees, A potential loss of sponsorship bonus, and all for a slight increase in ticket sales. Use your time in Div. 6 to build your stadium and correctly prepare yourself for Div. 5. This game is a marathon, not a sprint. If you charge to hard in the beginning, you're more likely to burn out. Whatever you decide, be sure you weigh up the long term consequences/benefits of your actions. Many people would advice you take early promotions as much as possible. I personally wouldn't advise it, but really, it's down to you to weigh up the pro's and cons. |

Really good advice...thanks. I think I am settling in for the long haul on here. If I stay, I dominate and increase funds...so I am ok with that. If I happen to move up, it will be challenging...but I always like the challenge. Starting to tweak the areas that I have been neglecting and making my operations a bit more smooth. Thanks again. | 23/02/2012 19:23 |

To add to what dee said, I finished my first season in Div 6 with 12k pro and 6k VIP. Stadium is key. | 23/02/2012 19:25 |

Yeah, I am noticing that I am lacking in stadium. Definitely a point of focus for future funds. | 23/02/2012 19:26 |
