Hi, I don't know if is normal that on a foul kick for my team, my striker to pass the ball to the opposite player from behind him. The following action is scoring. This are the game goals : http://en.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=11371482&accion=goles, the one i'm talking about is the goal for 2-0 (57:54), but you have to go back a bit to minute 56:50 and see the bug. thnx |

There is a pretty massive AI bug right now where a player will bring the ball up along the touchline, and make it almost as far as the front line of the Penalty area, and instead of passing it into the center towards the strikers, he will instead take a very weak shot at goal that for a very high percentage of the time will be off the mark or short. I should think players out in those areas of the field should have some kind of location clause that states they should not shoot in that instance, but rather look to loop in an aerial pass, or find a channel for a ground pass to someone in a better position to shoot. It's this exact AI weakness that is causing LM/RM and LW/RW to be worth so much less on the market than their inner counerparts. They do not contribute to the attack in any real meaningful way, and are typically not trained or capable of helping out on defense. |
