Here I am back, complaining about the game again, and after reading this, if you think I'm wrong, ban me or delete my account, I wont tell a word against it

UPLAY ONLINE and Striker manager has become and integral part of my life for last 4 or 5 months, and I was happy about it, when I came to know about the @ thing, what they can do and how they help to run this game, every time I needed any help, I always went to a @, like @CelloG, @Rebsiot or any other @'s, they are always been a great help to understand this game, and that is what makes them special for every1 in this game. You are protected and no1 can cheat you because @'s are protecting you and they are here to sort out everything, a task given by UPLAY, for working without demanding anything in return has always been a credit I have given to them, then a day comes when I came to that what ever tools they have they are using it for their own benefit too, I wont mention any specific names here, but according to some @ more 50% of @s are using such tools in the worst way and for their benefit, what he said is "If I have that tool I'll always use it", for example @s can see your balance and max bid you put on a player for own purpose, is this fair to you by any means?
Is this game seems fair by any means? I could have complained a 1000 times about any other issues but I didn't, but I am asking this to the developers and to the head of this games, is this fair? tell me at least, the time I spend here is valuable for me, and tell me how can I trust the same @, who is doing some unfair business to me? If this is written in the game rules, tell it out, if not take a step, do something, stop the unfair thing, please....

Although I appreciate the shout-out, I'd like to point out that info@strikermanager.com is the fastest way to reach U-Play for big issues like this.

I'm sad to see the integrity of @ questioned, but the question is fair: we do have the tools to help us both catch cheaters and also to resolve questions such as "why didn't I get revenue from my last home game?" (answer: you did receive income) or "why was I suddenly in the red this morning?" (answer: usually taxes, which are taken out when player joins your squad).

The truth is that seeing balance and max bids doesn't really help one cheat. You can be outbid in any auction (as I ALWAYS have been and continue to be, worst luck ever) at the last minute even if one were to abuse this knowledge. As for seeing balance, I'm not sure what advantage that confers, perhaps an edge in negotiating? (i.e. when someone lies about their balance, we would know it?). This isn't much of an advantage. If a manager doesn't want to pay the price, knowing the balance won't change that.

The only real advantage we have is the ability to see if a player is multi-accounting who is negotiating to buy a player, or get one on loan, but even that is a good thing because of the obvious fact that a multi-accounter is then caught.

Is there something else I'm missing?

Technically, I should close this thread according to the rules, but if everyone is civil, we can leave it open. Keep in mind that newbies will see this thread, and if they aren't impressed, they could leave, and who knows, maybe we lose a great manager over what turns out to be hysteria . So, try to keep it real, and if you have something to say, think it through before posting.

Thank you.

Thanks @CelloG, thanks for explaining, but my concern was the manner in which it was said, and for that I posted it, Like i said before, i'm always open to contribute to the game, and for that reason only I asked it.... 05/05/2012 08:11

I take @cello's civility and tell you where you can take it.

You want to call out "50% of the @ say they use it in this way" then email Uplay as cello says.

Email me the names and evidence, I'll forward it.

Question my ability to reason when angry? sure. My integrity at this (voluntary) job? You have a problem with me personally then.

First of all, all @s don't have the features that you said. Only fiscals have them and the following is the list of fiscal in the game.

@Dnsvnsk
@Karagounis
@puskascrack
@Gunnernic
@rebsiot
@bluegene
@CelloG
@solirocket
@practicesquad
@rishu

It's true that they have access to every stuff you mentioned above. But It is necessary to have those powers to catch the cheaters. If you think any @ has cheated you or anybody else by misusing his power then either post here or send a message to the developers of the game.

the "some @" that said some of the stuff above was me, some of it was taken out of context. Those who were on general chat at that time know exactly what i said and what i meant by it. I did not accuse others @s of cheating. 05/05/2012 08:25

Adam, the best course of action is first to write a private message. The forums should only be used for grievances that are unaddressed. Otherwise it can do more harm than good. For instance: now you have accused half of the @ of cheating, but with no evidence. The majority of users will assume that because it is in print in a public forum, it must be true. The policy is in place to protect the innocent.

Heck, I love a good protest, but the cause must be both just and more importantly accurate for it to be worth the digital bloodshed.

The standard path for a grievance is:

1) write to any @
2) if it isn't fixed, write to @Rand
3) if that doesn't fix it, email info@strikermanager.com
4) only after weeks of the problem being ignored should one go public.

If you have a problem with any @, you should write to @Rand first, as he is the head honcho.

Remember, any issue that we raise also distracts @Rand and developers from fixing bugs in the simulator, so make sure it is worth the distraction from this important work. Corruption is always a big deal, so if you have some real evidence of this, by all means, distract them.
