The key to this game as far as I see it is:-

1) Keep your costs as low as possible, for example I'm quite happy with my 67 and 70% physio/psych.
2) Build a stadium with as high an income as possible. Don't be stingy with your pro/vip seats.
3) Youth team, get high progression ones and train them day and night. When the first batch matures and you sell them on, then you can start filling in those positions you're not training.
4) Senior team, if you're not training a position then you don't need young, high forecast players.
5) Don't sell your players cheap. If you're still training them and they're still going up in average nicely, then don't be tempted to cash in on them now. Cash in when they're getting hard to raise averages in. For example a 72 RW goes for about 80-100m, a 77 RW goes for 300m.
6) Tactics, learn how they work, read everything that everyone says about it, use your PL to test things out, even if it means you come last in your PL.
7) Find out what all the stats and skills actually do. Even before I was an @, I tried to help all the newbs in the game, simply because you learn much more by being the teacher. Scarily enough, I have read every post in every forum from the day the game was created and the majority of the posts in the Spanish version(even though I have to google translate them).
8) work out how to make extra money, there are quite a few little tricks to make money. Although GB's is one of the better ones, things like buying low morale players, hostile clauses, the free GK hire/train/fire method all work. There's probably other ways now.

I nearly forgot, just noticed that you're training RB/LB's, make sure you train clearances every week. You need to get their technique up.

That's about all my understanding about this game. But I still didn't get a thing about schools. Can you tell me the best way to built schools?

the free GK hire/train/fire method - whats this ???

and schools now is best to build only 5 ball schools = better chance of good grads

holland 5 ball is 20m brazil is 80m i think others vary in middle the better the fifa ranking better chance of nice grad

btw my 5 ball holland spits out 1 every 2 weeks yesturday got my 3rd nice player with 80+ progression

I didn't see the worth of building a school. It gives me low average players that nobody will pay even 10000 for them. It also gives me low forecast players, my scout could find better player with forecast of 90+ for free. So, why should I have a school? What's the meaning for school to exist? 08/05/2012 16:36

To tell you the truth, I find forecast 95+ GK by scout. And I can focus on the position on what I train. And for every 10 hours I get several players.

From my understanding, just hope school will produce average 38+ players to sell a good price.

if i could go back two months i would not have built my 20m school

but happy to pay the £392k weekly cost now - made only 5m so far from selling grads at this rate will take another season to be making money from school

still i could always strike it lucky and graduate a robin van persie - train him up he could be worth £1 billion aged 20/21

I think 5 balls schools will worth more if scout find only rubbish. But the truth is: scout find such good players. 08/05/2012 17:07
