I know everyone will probably will hate me for suggesting this but... I think that forecasts as they are now should be abolished. It's simply ridiculous to know that a player with 7 average can/will be a 97 on Nov. 17, 2014, the moment you see them. Any forecasts should be far more hazy. It could give a range (90's, 80's, 70's), a recommended div., or a rating: will be a star at a young age (div 1), will develop into a top-level player/star as a veteran (div 1), will be consistently top-class but not a star (div 1-2), will be high-level and a leader (div 1-2), will be high level but not quite good enough to compete with the best (div 2-3), will be a solid pro but not good enough to play at the higher levels (div 3-4), will be a pro with potential to play in higher tiers as a veteran (div 3-4), will be skilled but just an ok pro (div 4-5), will develop into a pro but will struggle to escape lower divisions (div 4-5), will never really develop into a solid player (div 5-6), will always be a weak player (div 6-7), and should not play football (div 7). |

Its not necessary that a player whose FC shows he will be 97 on Nov 17, 2014 will reach that point in the given time frame. The FC just gives u an idea of "If u train him 7 days a week for 2 seasons or then he might reach there or might reach 97 average even sooner". But in reality U might never see 97+ players on SM anytime. We have checked Spanish server and its in its 13th season and none of the players have reached 99 average. So that shows Its practically next to impossible to reach such high averages. A player once he crosses 90-92 average generally increases only by 2-3 points a season or even less. | 23/06/2012 19:51 |

Forcast are already very general. They rise and fall quite a lot. | 23/06/2012 20:16 |

Then they shouldn't be displayed as accurate. | 23/06/2012 21:36 |

The example was not the point...so everything after your first 2 sentences was unnecessary. |

Don Quixote said: Then they shouldn't be displayed as accurate. They're not, they are displayed as what they are which is a forecast. You get forecasts in horse racing, best forecast horse doesn't always win. |
