http://uk.strikermanager.com/partido.php?id=6414816&accion=simul Again, I'm not going to give you the minute by minute but... a. two goals (probably 3) came from offside passes or offside build ups b. you can't blame the "the pass came from their side of the field" bug because in some cases offside was called c. players continue to pass the ball forward to each other behind my defence Yes, I can change my tactics but why can't I play soccer/football the way it is supposed to be played? p.s. Don't mistake their first goal as Not Offside (replay to the build up and you will see that the build up began with a player clearly offside) The second goal was not offside. The third goal was offside. The fourth goal was offside (it looks to me that their winger headed the ball not my defence). Either way two goals were definitely clearly offside, either from direct pass or at beginning of build up. To be honest, I could argue that all goals were due to lack of offside calls because players were receiving ball in offside position throughout the game. |

There's nothing wrong with criticism. My only concern is that as the game diverges away from reality it become more of a game of numbers and algorithms. Perhaps the majority welcomes this. Of course, when you're winning it's easy to overlook faults and when you're losing (like me) one becomes more sensitive to perceived injustice |

the game may have its bugs, especially the offside issue, but it's getting better and better, just look at the improvement on the players not passing when running towards goal | 07/07/2012 01:29 |

Bizzojuniors first three goals were due to players who received the ball in their own half, on half way line, or maybe ever so slightly past halfway line when pass was played (it's tough to even say they were past halfway). It's factional stuff, but your tactics are unrealistic, and you got punished for it. The 4th goals, it looks like your RB keeps the player on side. 4 legitimate goals scored against you. None were definitely offside. No injustice. Having you're defence higher than the half way line is not how football is meant to be played, unless you want to get punished each time. You can't complain when you allow your defenders to be higher up in the opponents half than their attackers (see first goal as prime example). Change your tactics. As I said I have to reconsider my tactics but I don't agree with your analysis. I watched the game several times to be sure not to post unnecessarily. My eyes do not see what you saw so should we post precise minutes of exact passes? I don't think so. The engine is what it is and I accept that. I do not accept your notion that real soccer does not include tight defending and I think you would agree that players don't pass the ball to each otherbehind defenders. Unless you watched the whole game rather than "the goals" I am not surprised you think that those goals were onside. As I said, you have to watch the build up. Offside passes lead to goals. |

I watched not only the goals, but the buildups as well... and I agree with cmcourt. You have a case for his third goal, but not for the other three, and your tactics are not helping you. | 07/07/2012 03:30 |
