But remember, before Ronaldinho, Ronaldo or Rivaldo; there were the likes of Pele, Zico and so on. Its just a phase, they will bounce back. I dont think they will... Brazil and Argentina have more technically gifted players.. the dribbles and shots, no one can match them.. But football is no longer an individual game.. likes of Messi and Ronaldo and even Ronaldihno can no longer win you cups single-handedly. It is more of a team game now.. and in working as a unit, European teams are much better.. Look at Spain, and Germany.. or even the way Italy played this time.. Sure there are individual brilliances.. but coach is the most important factor right now.. |

no Superstars... huh!?! ever heard of Neymar? lol The Phenom. or what about Pato or Lucas or Ganso or Oscar? they have a STACKED team & i didnt mention Thiago Silva, David Luiz, Marcelo... but as was said, coach & his style is a major part of the equation & i think Brazil has gotten it wrong with at least their last 2 or 3 coaches & certainly their style of play. if they can get the right coach who can blend the Samba style with good D & fundamentals they will rise to the top again sooner than later. My bad on derailing your topic man, which by the way was a great question. Real Samba FC |

Did the great Ronaldinho invent it? |

No problem Samba Style = free flowing, creative, flair that is seemingly genetic or instinctual to most all Brazilian born players. my question is how can you be a football fan & not know what Samba Style is? and, no, Ronaldinho didnt create it he was born with it. but he undoubtably took it to a whole nother level. you are either too young to know & have seen, or you are anti-Brazil. How would you describe Neymar's style? He is Samba Style. Real Samba FC Edited by HotSpurz 23-07-2012 14:31 |
