Hi hark. thanks for bumping this. The really sad thing is that we had a huge problem with offsides in the past (perhaps before you joined). the boards used to be full of threads complaining about it. the issue was fixed, and there was much rejoicing. I have no idea why we've had the new update. |

Did the update fix anything? no, it's nowhere near as bad as it was. almost every single team used to play an offside trap at the halfway line. the update which fixed this made defenders slower the higher up the pitch they play. so everyone adjusted to deep lying defences. the offside rule in the new update seems very accurate in general. the problem is that strikers tend to sit goal-side of the defender marking them. |
