I believe that any manager is allowed to do as he sees fit. Just as in the real world not all players even with great potential go on to become the best in the world it's just how it goes. For teams in the lower divisions a player with great potential doesn't mean too much when you are losing games week in and week out, the use of said player to help win games is far more attractive than an uncertain future in SM. | 14/08/2012 11:36 |

If I look back at my first 2 seasons in SM, I would've done a lot differently. What I am saying is it's my choice to do as I please and sometimes circumstances force me to make decisions that may not be in the best interest of the player or the future of the club but rather the best choice for right now. Let's be honest, if you have a 99FC junior that trains well enough to make the starting 11 as a newbie that seems a fantastic prospect. It's usually newer people and when they see a 40 average player in your youth squad, you're not going to be worrying about ruining progression (which at that point you know nothing about). Stop worrying so much about other peoples teams and concentrate on your team. | 14/08/2012 14:28 |
